Hancock collaboration.

Born in 1786, inventor Thomas Hancock is credited with being the father of the British rubber industry – as well as coming up with various processes, he patented the method of vulcanizing rubber with sulfur so that the material becomes stronger.

Every year Converse collaborates with the British luxury label Hancock on a new collaborative shoe line and this year they asked us to make a sexy little product video to show off their results. This year the shoe is highlighted by a pattern taken from original drawings of rubber plants from Hancock’s notebook from the 1800s.
