Joy around the Snow Globe.
PROBLEM:
To create an animated journey that feels nostalgic and still contemporary for a Holiday campaign for Canada Goose. This animated journey would be the back half of a live-action spot directed by Petra Collins with VFX by Loom and commissioned by the agency Nuevo.
SOLUTION:
We started visual development by matching the style references requested and then slowly moved away toward a more unique look that would still retain the reference material's nostalgia and warmth. We used a star as a visual device to allow our animated hero to move through the landscape, showing off locations and target markets that carry importance to the client. Each of the live-action models is featured in animated form, connecting the live-action opening to the closing animated world.
